About The First Use Of grooving Machine For Mobile Phone Packaging

In 2009, in order to launch the smart phone iPhone 4, Apple introduced the grooving process of the box inner tray (as showed in the picture), that is, the process of forming the color box of the inner tray after V grooving operation.

At that time, as the core packaging material supplier of Apple, Hong Kong Huacai Group finally found Saili, and entrusted the process to us.

Solution

Then Saili introduced the KL-1000-II drum grooving machine which we developed in 2007 to them, successfully solved the iPhone 4 inner tray grooving process.

Result

This is also the first time that the Saili grooving machine is applied to a mobile phone box packaging.
